Topic 1: City in a Bottle
Trolls – generally cool with how it is. Can be annoying at times, but not too crazy (counterbalance dibs and arabian aggro)
FA – same as above. More of an annoying card, but nothing egregious to make a change
Twister – Good with leaving as is – no problems with the card
Spawners – 1-2 people interested in restricting, but the last few major tournaments the top decks had a lot of AN cards, juzams, etc. Even when you hit you can still be ran over so now it’s okay. Functional errata can be a little too confusing
Horde – support restriction, one card that destroys a whole set isn’t a “fun aspect thing” — caution to be not always be reactive to restrictions
Beast – do not support any restriction
Additional points: Right now with COVID there’s a limited play, a little lack of data from larger in-person events. Could potentially do an informal “watch list” rather than vote now

Topic 2: Plague Rats as Zombie Subtype
Spawners – just bringing it up to try and get something fun going. Zombie master isn’t great and this could be a way to make a new archetype
Trolls – resistance to functional errata
Twister – 6-12 folks that play 2 days a week, kinda wants to not necessarily change the card, but might have fun changing things
Horde – passionate to not have functional errata and have consistency
FA – didn’t discuss it with the group, likely no change
Beasts – Fun & interesting but also some resistance to functional errata
Yay – Twisters, Spawners, Fallen Angels, Beasts
Nay – Trolls, Horde

Topic 3: Mana Clash as Tiebreaker (as an alternative)
Trolls – good with it, as long as it’s an alternative and not a forced PAC thing
Twister – same as above, good to have options
Spawners – it’s an alternative, just another choice, if too drunk or out of time… gives an easier way out – webcam play could also be an alternative because of field of vision
FA – like it as alternative as well, would prevent from stalling to time as well
Beasts – not predominant, if voting need to circle back
Horde – need more data to weigh in… allow TO to pick their own option
ACTION: Brian to send initial text to Shawn and we’ll tweak it for people to take back
2021 OSPC Chairperson Discussion

Voting Representative Changes
How are voting reps chosen for each group? How long do they serve? Is there any consistency with how each groups’ process.
Trolls – made a separate “core” group for their decision making. Could have the current VR default into the AR
- VRs serve for 24 months
- Might need a by-laws amendment to extend the 24 months so we can get some natural staggering
- All groups will go back to discuss and bring recommendations and processes back
Trolls New Resolution: Restriction for Mishra’s Workshop
- Extremely powerful deck, people are turned off by the huge cost of the lands that are very specific to the archetype
- Twisters – consider similarity to other formats if we make this move
- Beasts – interesting about the argument of identity… it’s something that’s come up in internal discussion
- Possibly do a combo restriction (Workshop, Strip mine, Factory)
ACTION: take resolution back to groups for discussion and possible vote at next Convocation
A40 Discussion:
Spawners – Start a PAC A40, there are some critiques with the A40 League and how it’s run, maybe we should have a stab
Twisters – there’s not that many people in AZ that plays Alpha… it’s hard to constrain that much, maybe we should do an ABU40 or something, something less elitist, more options for 40 car limited format
Trolls – A40 is a casual thing to jam games with the alpha cards you have. The league is making it too formal
Maybe there is a construct of a “40 card format” with core rules like the mulligan, the fake ante, the play-as-is type of card rules. Could be choose your own adventure type of modules.
Differentiator is the Ante aspect
Let’s continue the dialogue and work on the document and framework and then we can work things in discord
